today i sneezed.

I would just like to say thankyou to my wonderful gallbladder and appendix.
You made my last couple weeks, well, lets just say they weren't ALL that enjoyable.
About 2 weeks ago, TODAY. I stopped eating, going to school, acting like a normal person, laughing, and probably a million more things. -i just named the most important ones-except school:) but surprisingly i miss sitting in class.
Anyway, because of you...
(gallbladder and appendix)
My new best friends were...
-the hospital (BLAH)
-hospital beds (everytime you move it makes a crunchy sound)
-ultra sounds
-scans (all sorts)
-iv's (my favorite)
-nurses and doctors (who were very nice)
Now, those who know me well... KNOW all of the things i just listed are my LEAST favorite things ever.
-I only like the hospital when i'm going to visit a newborn baby.
-I only like hospital beds when it's NOT me in them.
-Ultra sounds and Scans aren't too bad, but the fact that they couldn't find out what was wrong, i thought they were worthless.
- The iv's. The first trip to the hospital with my mom and guess what the first thing i asked her was?
"I don't have to get a shot right??"
The first couple pokes were alright, but i had to stay overnight at the hospital for fluids and since my body was dehydrated, FINALLY on the 9th attempt they got the iv in my vein.( i didn't think i was THAT dehydrated, i was wrong. Now i have some lovely bruises.)
-The nurses and doctors, loved them all. Kind of hard - i thought i was for sure going to dislike all of them because i hate when people are working on me, but Marguerite, Dr. Johnson, Laurie, Sherice, Katy, Dr. Cook....
there were so many more, HA that medicine they give you is WAY too strong, so how was i supposed to remember ALL of their names? Anyway, you guys were all just lovely.
THANKS FOR MAKING ME FEEL BETTER.

It was this pretty lady's birthday party the day i went into the hospital for the first time.
I was supposed to help with her birthday party all day, but ended up in my room, in my bed.
She had a St. Patricks BIRTHDAY party.
i love her!
i came out of the hospital feeling more loved than EVER.
balloons
more pretttty flowers :)
and this sweet note from the birthday girl.
AH I JUST LOVE IT!
Gabrielle and Savannah also wrote me a note. Savannahs made me smile. The night before i got surgery i told her to say "hi" to the boy she has had a crush on for a while. She said "no", so i told her to do it for me.
In the note it said..."Madeleine i said hi to that boy just for you!"
She's a sweetheart.

So, i got my surgery on Thursday so 4 days ago.
I feel like a million bucks today compared to the last 3 days.
I SMILED AND LAUGHED TODAY. -just thought you should know, haven't done that in a while.
I actually just had some normal food for the first time in about 2 and a half weeks!
mmm it was good, but i got full fast.

I'm getting sick of laying in bed all day so today i got to go with my mom to kneaders to get my favorite soup.
Then to ripples for a lime freeze. This man was in his car, and just CHOWING DOWN on a hamburger...
i've never been so jealous.
now the real question is: WHO KNEW sneezing would hurt so bad with just 4 tiny incisions (that ARE healing) on/in? my stomach.
I never ever thought i would regret sneezing, because sneezing to me, is very satisfying.
But today, i regretted it. VERY MUCH.

oh my goodness, i just have so much to say, i just keep writing. SORRY if this is too confusing to follow.
Can i just tell you HOW MUCH i love my mother?
She has been right by my side the second i started getting my stomach pains.
After surgery, they gave us almost too many directions. Well I thought they gave us too many.
They are simple, but at the time i thought they were difficult.
-walking every hour
-breathing in this breather thingy
-standing up straight
-taking this medicine - it makes me sick
-making sure i have a little food with those pills i had to take
WELL. guess who was there to help me get up every hour to walk around and make sure i didn't fall over?
Or to give me the medicine i needed to take
and to feed me some soup so i didn't get extra sick after i took the pills?
or help me get into bed because i couldn't for the life of me...
my mother.
iloveher, she is amazin.

PEOPLE ARE JUST NICE.
thanks, i am grateful for you.
love, me.
